Fun Tag .....

Now to Jeni's Tag!! I must be honest, I did not do this right after reading your blog...it was late and I just got Abby to bed. So the next day I took pictures, and am now just getting around to it!

Here is what you do. After reading this blog go take pics of your rooms now, without changing anything.

Upgrading our Storage!

This past weekend we fixed up our little storage room! I painted some nice shelves my parents had as leftovers from refinishing their basement. Then Aaron and my Dad installed them!!

Here is the before picture........they were very rickety and just not good!!

Some of the food storage...

Abby loves playing in our little storage room ............ So cute in her Princess Panties!! (Aaron hates the word panties, so we call them "undies" if he is around!)

The after picture!! They look so good and are very sturdy!! And lots more room!!

I have room for more food storage now!!

This is a project that we've had on the list and I'm so happy it is done! Thanks for the hard work and help mom, dad, Abby (she helped restock the new shelves), and Aaron!! I probably should also thank Albertson's, they had part of their case lot sale last week so I stocked up which meant we had to make more room!!

I Love ISU

A few photos before our first ISU football game of the season:

Giving her best Benny the Bengal GROWL!

Showing me where the heart is. Lots of love for her Bengals!

Calling her friends to see if they can meet her at the game!

I swear that is my daughter.....even though we don't look to much alike!!

Just in case any of you are wondering.............yes, we know that ISU is kind of down in their athletics these days........but that doesn't bother us, we live in a college town and love sports! I even talked Aaron into going to the women's volleyball game the other night. What a sweet guy!! (they even won the VB match!! It was a big win!)

My Garbage Goin' Girl!

The other day I told Abby I was getting some garbage ready to take out (I must note that she really likes walking out to the dumpster with me!). While I was getting the garbage ready Abby was also getting a few things ready.................

She was standing at the back gate with her baby in her stroller and purse looped over her shoulder. She was ready to go, and of course - ME, THE MOM - found it so adorable!

Just thought I'd show ya'll a picture of the garbage that Abby and I took out!!!

The cutest cook in the world!

Abby loves to be just like mom and wear an apron whenever we are doing any cooking or baking. The apron is a lot to big, but we make it work!!

Prepped and ready to go!

Isn't that cute!!!

This particular day we happened to be making english muffin pizza's....one of Abby's favorites!! It's a great one where she can actually help me!!

I thought she might cooperate and pose better outside!!

And here are some BEYOND cute bows that my friend Stephanie made for Abby and gave to her for her birthday!!

Football season is here!

Well this post is for my football loving husband!! Football season is officially here! Want me to tell you how I know??? Well this is how our last weekend went.........Friday night we went to the Highland High football game then came home and watched football highlights. Saturday morning we were up at and at a little league football game where we knew boys that played on both teams. Then we were home watching some college football before we set off to watch the first BYU game of the season at Jim and Cindy's. After that we had a short break for a ward party then it was back to football and football highlights and recaps. Now to Sunday, I'm not for sure how many games were on this day but I do know that kickoff started at 11:00 that morning and the last game ended around 10:00 that night. Of course it was not watched all day, just part of the day! Now I'm sitting here on a Monday, and if you know anything about football you know that Monday night football is on! I'm not posting all this to complain about my crazy husband's addiction......luckily I love sports and football almost just as much ....so it's all good. I would be a liar if I said I don't get irritated every now and then, but as a wife isn't that my job????

Before we went to the little league game on Saturday morning it was pretty funny because Aaron put on his BYU sweatshirt, I was in my Boise State, and Abby was representing ISU. Poor Abby didn't really get a choice, but she doesn't really understand that the Bengals are struggling a little in the athletic department. (and that sweatshirt was on sale....and we go to lots of ISU games and I wanted her to represent!)
So here we all are representing our teams and announcing that football season is here!!!!

Go Cougars!

Go Bengals!

Go Broncos!

I must add - you might be thinking that we are a crazy family with as much football that goes on just from the sound of this one weekend. Don't worry we are not neglecting Abby in any way and Aaron is not negleting Abby and I in any way. We know what is most important in life, we all just have different passions in life........right?

My not so little girl!!

Here are some very cute photos of our Abigail.....they remind me that she is not a baby anymore, and is a grown up little girl! With this post I'd like to list 10 things that I love about Abby:
1) She has excellent manners - lately she has been saying thank you much and it is adorable, and you better be quick with your own manners because she'll say please and thank you for you if you don't hurry!
2) She loves to give hugs and kisses, her favorite is to give "group hugs" and "group kisses" but you better be careful because she loves to get you in all close then sneak her little fingers in to tickle your neck!
3) Which brings me to #3....Abby is very devious and sneaky, of course in a very cute way! She is always trying to out smart me and tease me! I love it!!
4) I love the way she says the words shower, Moore, and scriptures! The way it sounds is just so dang cute!
5) When she gets in trouble and I'm about ready to tell her to go sit in time out she starts yelling over and over "I'm sorry mommy, I'm sorry!" Makes me want to smile, but of course we continue to timeout!!
6) I absolutely love her excitement for pictures of Jesus, temples, and President Monson! She makes sure that we know that she knows who and what it is!
7) Abby absolutely loves her family, she can name all her aunts and uncles and who her cousins are. She loves her mamas and papas and of course all her grandma and grandpa greats! I love it when she tells me Uncle Chad is on a mission in Texas!
8) I love Abby and her great sense of directions! You go to one place with her one time and she'll remember it forever. My favorite is when we drive by Aaron's work and she tells me "Daddy's office, Daddy's making money!"
9) She has the best laugh, it has a deeper tone to it! It is just so funny, and it doesn't take much to get Abby giggling!
10) I must mention the energy this little girl has! She never stops, she is always bouncing around and looking for something to do! And she just jumps from one thing to the next! I wonder if the day will ever come that she'll want to sit down and color for more than five minutes, or watch a movie for more than five minutes! But it is great because she keeps me going, smiling, and not to mention in shape!!
We love her to pieces!
Making that list was really fun for Aaron and I......we all could go on and on about our children...as parents that is our job!!!

Here is our grown up little girl:

More labor day.....

Yes, this post comes a bit late. What can I say, it has been a busy week! Going back to labor day.....more went on then just fishing!! See below!

We were so excited that Brad and Becky came for the weekend, which made Abby even more happy because she is always looking for someone to play with in her house! (as you can tell from her face)

Bryson all ready to ride the forewheeler! He looks like a little space dude! I kept telling him how cool Uncle Clay would think he looks!

Taking a Labor Day ride with Papa! Abby absolutely hates (that is very strong word, but true) my dad's motorbike.........she won't even walk by it. On the other hand, she can't get enough of the forewheeler. Just another one of Abby's things that I don't understand!!

The little man ready for a ride!

The motorbike bike that Abby hates, but unlike his daughter Aaron loves it and is ready to go for a ride!

Haylee and Bryson enjoying the chocolate frosting beaters, which was for the yummy desert Becky made!! I thought these pictures were so cute! And don't worry Becky, I will get you a copy of all these cute pictures I'm posting of your children!!!

Abby enjoying Grandma's tool bench that finally made it out of the garage and into the house!!!

Good Times!

A weekend of laboring....NOT!

This post is for you Grandpa Allen!!

Aaron, dad, and Grandpa went fishing on Saturday. Let me just say that Aaron was so excited and was tossing and turning the night before all night due to his excitement. From what I heard they had a great time and can't wait to go again. Aaron and my dad caught a few fish, but my Grandpa brought home the bragging rights! He got himself a big one....my stats could be wrong but it was at least a 3 pounder!

The happy men posing with dinner! You can see the big one there on the end!

The forewheeler mingling with the cows....

Cleaning the fish.......yuck

My dad wading around trying to snatch him a fish......didn't I tell you that they did it all by hand?? Just kidding! More like he's washing his hands!!

All of us enjoying their catch! We haven't cooked the big one yet, maybe tomorrow! But that was some good fish....just ask Brad!!!
