Abby's Festival of Trees Performance
12.1.12
The very next day we were back at Festival of Trees for Abby's clogging performance. This is our first year doing clogging - just like I did when I was her age- and she is liking it so far. The girl is always moving her feet and so I figured I might as well put it to good use!! Besides it teaches coordination, memorization, and stuff like that. Abby is amazing at memorizing routines!! At Festival of Trees they performed their first of two dances they are learning. In my opinion it is a tough dance for this age group but Abby is doing great! We try to practice everyday and have her teacher recorded doing the dance so Abby can watch it at home. Later on in the year they will go to competitions here in Pocatello and in Lagoon. This particular performance was great practice and Abby was as cute and great as ever!! She had a little stage fright but warmed up quickly!
After the performance we went and walked around and enjoyed looking at all the trees! A big thank you to Aunt Krista who kept Stockton for us.....dance performances and festival of trees is just not his most favorite thing! Playing with his boy cousin's definitely is!!
Princess Tea Party
11.30.12
During Festival of Trees they do a fun of event for the little girls called The Princess Tea Party. Grandma Cindy Moore bought tickets for Abby and cousin Mesa to got to enjoy some royal treatment and lots of fun for the evening. And us mom's got to tag along as well. It was a fun night full of catered food, singing, dancing, games, crafts, pictures, free t-shirt, walking across the stage, meeting all the famous Princesses and Princes.....just lots of fun for any little girl!! A lot of time and effort goes into this event and I was very impressed. A big thank you to Grandma Cindy, we all had a ton a fun with you!
does the real Cinderella have cleavage......??
macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets, cupcakes, and chocolate milk....truly a magical evening!
Mesa is 4 years old but as tall as Abby! They are about 2 years apart.
getting ready for them to say "Princess Abby" then she walks across the stage!
