The Reading Bug!!

I'm going to give a quick shout out to the Marshall Public Library here in Pocatello!! Abby and I enjoy going to Book Babies once a week at the library. And it has been the greatest thing. Abby has learned so much from going, and lately has really started to enjoy reading books. She is always bringing me books and saying "read mommy" and I'm always catching her up in her bed, of course surrounded by all of her babies, reading books. This week at Book Babies they sent us home with a little fun water color project for them to do. I'm grateful for people out there that offer such great educational activities/classes for kids!! Especially the free ones!!!

I find it so much fun to watch Abby grow up (of course not to fast!!) and do new things! What joy kids are!!! I know all you mother's out there know just what I'm talking about!! And Abby being my first child I just find everything so interesting and fun so I hope I'm not boring ya'll!

Well after nap the other day it was to hot to go outside and play so we had some fun eating chocolate pudding, and I decided to post a few pictures of the fun event...........

Abby smiles so cheesy and big that her eyes close!! Oh wait a minute! Who else is like that!!??? Can you say Grandma Cindy Moore!!! To cute!

What a great afternoon snack that was!!!!

A little to close....don't ya think?

Here are some funny closeup pictures! The flash was a little much for her eyes!

" Yikes mom! That flash is way brighter up close!!"

" Now I'm getting more use to it............."

This last picture is my favorite!! The cutest mouthful of teeth I have ever seen!!

What a cutie!

I thought these pictures were beyond cute. My mom got this outfit for the 3 girls (Haylee, Ryley, and Abby) down in St. George, which is so cute!! Thanks mom!! I could tell Abby was in a good mood so I got my camera out and she started smiling and posing!

Flashing the pearly whites!

She has lots and lots of different facial expressions............this being one of them!

Love the lashes.......................

To sweet.......................

It's those pearly whites again!!!

As you can tell from our blog..............Aaron and I absolutely adore our little girl! We love you Abigail!

Water on the trampoline!

On Saturday I can say I pretty much spent all day outside in the nice sunny weather! In the morning we cleaned off the back patio and washed it all down and tried to organize it, now we are working on making it look pretty. Then early afternoon I had to go to our primary activity day and we planned water activities for that, so more sun. Then when I got home from that my 2 kids (Abby and Aaron) were just waking up from their naps so we went up to my parents and let Abby play on the tramp with water. We all had a blast watching her enjoy herself. Below are a few pictures:

Here is the little water bug.

What a beach babe!!

I can't wait for my parents to get some grass!! For now we just enjoy the dirt. My dad and Aaron took turns spraying the water onto the tramp and Abby loved it best when they were spraying it right into her face. Pretty soon she just wanted to drink the water. She thought that was so fun!

More drinks.....

Then she wanted papa to wash her toes. (I just had to post this picture to show off my dad's good lookin' outfit!! Aaron loves it because it reminds him of what the guys wear in Australia!! My dad was working on his sprinkling system before we got there thus the reason for all the flags and loose dirt around the tramp)

I love the nice sunny weather!!!

Please hold still and smile!! NOT!!!

I was trying to get some cute photos with Abby and Aaron on Father's Day. Abby just wasn't in the mood to hold still and smile, but I thought they still turned out cute! They captured the relationship that Aaron and Abby really have.........having fun together! So I thought I'd post a few of them:

Absolutely refusing to sit on Aaron's lap for a picture. But I love the facial expression she gave for the camera!

Then it all just turned into a game!! Of course I was sitting behind the camera a bit frustrated. And if Aaron was typing this I'm sure he would say that I was telling him to stop because he was messing up Abby's hair and we still have to go to church.............Nah!! That isn't something I would say!! haha

Abby did take some time out of her busy schedule and snapped a photo with me!

Happy Father's Day!!

Well with Father's Day coming up tomorrow I thought I better show some appreciation for the wonderful men in my life! First of all, there is my wonderful hubby and father to Miss Abigail.......Aaron! What an amazing father he is! Abby and I are lucky girls. I know when Abby was first born I immediately could tell that Aaron was so protective and in love with his little girl. I loved how he made sure everyone washed their hands before holding her and is just always looking out for her well being and what is best for her. It was hard for him because he was working full time and going to school in the evening full time so he missed out on a lot of Abby during that first year and a half. But he has always tried to do whatever he could to make up for it and be with us as much as possible. I could go on and on forever about how great of a father Aaron is and different memories I have...........but I won't. I just want to thank Aaron for being a great husband and father!! We Love you! Below are a few pictures that capture some very memorable moments between father and daughter:
At the hospital catching some cuddles with dad.
(oh she was so sweet and well behaved there......then we took her home!!)

Little twinners, don't ya think??

This is on their birthday! A special day they will always share, but I kind of feel bad for Aaron because I think Abby will always steal the spotlight! Don't worry Aaron, we won't forget about ya!!

To cute! (and I love the bib!!!)

Resting on dad at Matt and Jen's wedding.

Thinking she is so cool in dad's sun glasses.

I could watch Aaron play with Abby for hours..........

Loves giving her dad hugs and kisses!!! And it is even sweeter now that she runs to him saying Daddy!!!

Aaron wouldn't be such a great guy if he didn't have such a great dad. So, I want to thank my father-in-law Jim for teaching Aaron so much and being such a great example. You are a great father, and I'll never get tired of talking about sports and current events with ya! You are a great Grandpa to Abby and we are so lucky. Thanks for all you do!! We love ya!

Now, on to my own dad,who I also want to pay much much tribute too. What an amazing guy who has it all! Thanks dad for teaching me the importance of work and the importance of making smart, wise decisions in life. My dad is amazing at being a leader through example. He teaches that you don't just get things, you must work hard to earn them. I love watching my dad with the grandkids. He is a great Grandpa. Thanks dad! We love you and have so many great memories!! (and so many more to come!!)

Happy Father's Day to all!

Cutest laugh ever!!

I don't need to say to much about this post, the video says it all! We just can't get enough of her laugh. After I was done shooting the video lets just say we had a little tsunami hit the bathroom. Abby splashed a little to much, but of course it was cute!

A BBQ with Friends = FUN!!!

Last night our friends Collin, Kelli, and the very handsome Carter (another one of Abby's boyfriends!) came over for dinner. We always have a blast with them. For desert we had some strawberry shortcake and Carter was cracking us up. He was shoving it into his mouth and Kelli's mouth so fast.....definitely faster than they could eat it! So I decided to bust out my camera and snap a few photos.

What a cute family!!

Abby thought what Carter was doing was so funny so she had to get in on the messy fun too!

Should I kiss the girl???? Let me just tell ya that Carter is an open mouthed kisser and Abby isn't shy about kissing either.........so it was pretty funny.

The happy couple!! haha! Notice how they are sitting pretty close together here.

And in this picture they aren't so close ............. all night we kept telling them to give hugs or kisses because it was so dang funny and cute (also we were trying to get a cute picture of them hugging or puckering up!!).............eventually they got tired of it so they started not sitting so close to each other and playing so close to each other hoping that we would stop telling them to hug and kiss. They got tired of us! But Abby and Carter definitely play good together and that makes it nice!

Dishwasher Glory!

Well......here is a story I find very funny! I'm going to let my pride shine through a bit! We recently bought a new dishwasher so we would have all matching appliances in the remodeled kitchen. Our old dishwasher has been sitting out on the back patio for awhile, and Aaron told me I had 2 weeks to figure out something to do with it. I have been telling him I wanted to try to make some money off of it, but he told me I would be lucky if I made $5. So if I couldn't figure out something soon it was headed down the street to the DI. We have never had a problem with the dishwasher before, and it is only like 1 1/2 years old......the only draw back it has is it is pretty darn loud. So, yesterday I put it on Craigs List with a catchy description and a few pictures. Well last night (less than 8 hours since I posted the dishwasher on Craigs List) Aaron was making fun of me for even doing it saying that I wouldn't get any calls or interest. Guess what!! The phone rang!! And it was a lovely lady from Shelley who wanted to buy our dishwasher for our full asking price!! She said she would drive down to Pokey the next day and pick it up. SWEET!!! I didn't totally let my head get to the size of Kobe Bryant's (watching the playoffs right now) and rub it in Aaron's face. I had to wait till the cash was in my hands and dishwasher was headed back to Shelley. Sure enough my lady showed up tonight and gave me my cash and Aaron put it in her truck. Put a check mark next to my task of selling the dishwasher. Booya! I'm not done yet.............I had 2 other phone calls and 2 emails all interested in buying my dishwasher! All in less than 24 hours. I think I should have asked for a little more money! Aaron actually called me tonight while he was at mutual asking me to take the dishwasher off CraigsList because he got another call!!! This is such a great story because Aaron doubted me and I proved him wrong! He has apologized and has praised my abilities. Now he wants to head to the DI and stock up on a few things and sell them on Craigs List! Not really! What a lovely day it has been!

Some Fun In Raft River

On Sunday we went to Raft River to enjoy some dinner and visiting at Grandma and Grandpa Garner's. It was the best afternoon because Abby was taking care of and entertained by my wonderful cousins! I didn't even have to worry about her once because little Lucy was amazing, definitely a dream babysitter! I asked if I could hire her! Therefore, I got to enjoy just catching up and visiting with family. Below are a few pictures of the kids playing. My mom and dad just buried a tramp at their house so Abby has recently been introduced to the trampoline world and loves it!

Check out that air!!!

Abby and Monika watching a performance......it is so good that Monika is capturing it on her phone!

Risa, Devin, Abby, and Lucy ...................... the air is getting to Abby .................

A little ring around the rosey action!

EaSiLy EnTeRtAiNeD!!!

We all know how kids can be easily entertained...they don't always need the most expensive, coolest toys. A cardboard box, dirt, water in a glass, and for my little girl a rolling pin is quite satisfying. Today while I was folding laundry Abby came over and took all the clothes out of my basket and put them on the couch and took the baskets away for her own enjoyment. I snapped a few pictures and I couldn't just choose a couple so I went a little crazy and posted a few to many..........

She would go from basket to basket. And she was very protective of what and who went in the basket with her. I felt pretty important when she offered me a spot next to her to sit. I tried to explain there wasn't room, but she was so persistent........good thing we didn't get a picture of that!

Loving her baby we now call Sam (short for Samantha).

I believe she was giving me a random TOUCHDOWN here. What a show off!

????? Not sure what she is doing or trying to get across here ??????

She stopped showing off for the camera and I was back folding my laundry and I could hear her jabbering to herself and saying "baby pooped" over and over again. So here is a picture (and the one below) of Abby checking out baby Sam's bum.........she then wanted to go to the bathroom and put the baby on her little potty. FuNnY GiRl!

Now she is getting a little crazy with her laundry basket!

Now that is some cheap entertainment! She played for 30 minutes or more, then was interrupted with her daddy coming home!
