Jazz vs Boston Game

February 25, 2013
Aaron and I were excited to go to the Jazz vs Boston game! Megan and Travis are huge Boston fans and when they found out we were going they got tickets too, and were only a few rows above us. Before the game we went to City Creek and Megan showed me around, it was my first time going and I love that place!  Then of course we went to Crown Burger and off to the game. The Jazz lost in Overtime, but it was a great game where the Martin family went home happier than the Moore family!
convinced Travis and Aaron to get a pic with the jazz dancers....it really wasn't that hard!
I took this for Abby, of course it has Gordy in it!

Abby's Half Birthday

February 25, 2013
This was a big day in Abby's life....I  mean we were counting down to this day. When you have a summer birthday your half birthday celebration at school is VERY important!!!!! I went to school to deliver her birthday treat, cookies from costco, and sat in on her celebration. Each student has to write a card to the birthday girl or boy and use full sentences and then get up and read them in front of the class. It was so cute to listen to each kid and how they felt about Abby! She really is a friend to every kid in the class and it makes me so proud. And the funniest were a few of the boys who were blushing! Abby felt very special and really milked this half birthday business....!

At School

Pedicures!

February 16, 2013
My friend Megan and I went and had some girl time, and enjoyed the most heavenly pedicures! Pedicures are my absolute most favorite!! And we took our girls Abby and Kysnley with us. Can't wait for Kynsley to get a bit older and enjoy this heavenly part of life.
They had the coolest chair just for little girls!

Abby's favorite colors right now are yellow and purple.
And I had her get  a manicure as well because we had a lengthy pedi and she was getting bored!
Then we went and grabbed lunch at Burger King....how cool is that?!?

Hopefully we will be doing this again soon!!

Valentine's Day

February 14, 2013
Valentine's Day
As I type this I'm really trying to remember Valentine's Day!
We started out the day with heart shaped french toast and heart shaped ice cubes in our orange juice. Doesn't take to much to impress kids. Stockton took his Starburst valentine's to preschool for his valentine's party and had so much fun and came home with some good stuff. Then I went into Abby's school for the afternoon and helped out for her party. Then after school we went and delivered our homemade heart shaped sugar cookies to some to friends and neighbors. Then that night we had amazing fajitas per Aaron's request and some valentine float that I found on Pinterest that really wasn't that great but okay. We had ice cream and it is always great! And Megan and Kysley came over for dinner because Travis had to work and we loved having them especially my kids who always want them to come over! It was a great day full of lots of love.....haha!
P.S. Aaron and I don't go all crazy and get each other gifts on this holiday!

100 days of school for Abby!

February 11, 2013
Abby missed her 100 days of school celebration as I made her stay home as she was getting over nasty pink eye. I'm just grateful that I noticed it on Sunday and have the most amazing eye drops and got her on them so fast that it never really got bad or was much of anything. But I thought 24 hours at home was a good idea.  I mean who wants to be the mom of the kid that spreads nasty pink eye?!? So we had our own 100 days celebration at home with Stockton. We ate her 100 Swedish fish she counted out, and we made hats just like they would have at school. She was pretty happy when Mrs. Smith sent her home with all the activities they did the next day! I did my best at making the best out of a bad situation and I think I succeeded!

Super Bowl!

February 3, 2013

Super Bowl! Aaron has declared Super Bowl Sunday and official holiday....haha! I always tease him that if it is an official holiday then we better treat it like Christmas and rotate it year to year with our families! This year we stayed home and enjoyed our man cave with our great friends Megan and Travis and little girl Kynsley, who we always have way more fun than we should together! We were pretty low key as Kynsley was leaving the next day for surgery and needed to go healthy and germ free! We had so much fun and sooo much great food. We all wanted the 49ers to win so there was disappointment. The whole power outage was bizarre, but good for 49er fans and this may a bit controversial but I thought Beyonce did fantastic at halftime!
I thought our 3 foot sub was photo worthy!!

ISU Ball Games

We went to a couple ISU men's basketball games this season. Because Aaron and I are not students at ISU, and are just regular old full price paying citizens.....it is quite expensive to attend a game for our family, at least $30! Which I find expensive for a very mediocre team, don't get me wrong I do have a little love for my Bengals....just saying.

The first game we went to we all got in free so of course we went. My Uncle Blair was up for the game, and is good friends with the Northern Arizona coaching staff so he got us tickets....that night we had to be Northern Arizona fans!
January 19, 2013
Our friends came with us which made us all happy to take turns holding this little beauty! Love our Kyns!
The kids were so excited to see Benny after the game! Abby is slowly getting over her fear of mascots!
February 7, 2013
The last game we went to was also free! Abby earned a free admission from school from reading, and I won tickets for being the 7th caller on the local morning news program!! It all worked out perfect. Abby was so excited to catch a t-shirt and the game went into overtime and well past bedtime therefore Stockton fell asleep!

After school snacks!

January 10, 2013
After school snacks are very important in our house! This day I was scrounging for something so I came up with celery, carrots, and an orange julius. Whenever I pull out my blender my kids think I'm the coolest person on the planet! (and ranch to go with the celery and carrots)

Abby's "New Do"

January 8, 2013
This was a pretty dramatic change for all of us.....!
I honestly couldn't remember the last time I had Abby's haircut.
At first I was sad and missing her long hair, but it quickly grew on me and I have loved it.
Abby has loved it because she says it's easier to brush (no tangles), dries faster after a bath, doesn't take as long for mom to fix, and she loved it because everyone at school wanted to know all about her new haircut and the boys thought it was so cute.....haha!

Happy 8 Years!

January 7, 2013
Happy 8 years to us!
We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Red Lobster....love that place!
And of course my obsession below that Aaron surprised me with!!

I love this guy....so blessed!

Post Christmas....Christmas Vacation Fun

Playdough,....not an everyday thing around here

Stockton "The Tool Man" Moore

They played Guess Who a zillion times! Love new Christmas games!

This little beauty has been a new addition to our family. Abby named her Abigail!
Let them eat lunch in the living room and I was quite proud when they asked if they could watch football while eating!

New Year's Eve

Stockton was getting over a cold so we stayed home and just hung out on New Year's Eve!
Of course we had some sparkling cider and chocolate covered strawberries to ring in the new year.....and there was some Mario Kart going on as well!

I have a crazy love for these things! What a creepy picture!
Nice photo bombing  Stockton! That is my boy!

After the kids went to bed Aaron and I played some Mario Bros. on the Wii!! Serious fun!

Aaron & Zeb

12.27.12
It was so fun going to lunch with Aaron's best friend from high school Zeb and his family!
I had to take a few pics of the dynamic duo.......I can tell these 2 have the same relationship I have with with my best friend from high school Carrie!
 Pics from my phone......

Zeb' and Marce's beyond cute little boy Zeke!

Zeb and his wife Marce currently live in North Carolina where Zeb is the head Strength and Conditioning coach for the track team at Wake Forest. (I'm pretty sure that is his exact title...) We don't see them often but grateful when we do!

Christmas 2012

We had a perfect, relaxing Christmas at home!
Kids were up by 7:30.
Enjoyed their stockings and gifts/note from Santa.
We Skyped my parents so the kids could bring them some crazy Christmas morning fun.
Aaron cooked us an amazing breakfast. I believe he calls it the Big A Breakfast Burritos, and they really are amazing! It was nice to have him in the kitchen too.....
By 10 Aaron and I were watching basketball, big suprise!
At about 11 or so we opened the gifts under the tree.(Our kids are pretty easy going on Christmas still.)
And we loved having Jim and Cindy with us for breakfast and opening tree gifts!!
In the afternoon we headed to Inkom to enjoy Christmas with some of the Moore clan.
Truly a great day where I continue to be grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who has given me the perfect little family, and being with them is what makes me the happiest!

Abby asked Santa for a bath robe numerous times......
