Memorial Day

Aaron, Abby, and Stockton got up way to early and went fishing at Chesterfield. Let's just say the fish weren't biting but they had lots of fun!

We've made it a tradition on Memorial Day to always go to the Field of Heroes out at Century High School. It's such a reverent place and gives us the oppurtunity to really think about and be grateful for those that have died for our freedom. They separate the Idaho Veterans from the rest. So amazing.

Then we enjoyed a barbecue at the Moore's. No pictures! 

We enjoyed the long weekend for sure!

McKees!

This was the first day of summer for us, so to celebrate having Abby home with us we went to McKees to see the animals. We found out that Peyton is very unsure about animals. We had so much fun!

Stockton has started baseball! He is excited, and he's improved from last year! I surprised him with some sweet Nike cleats! He wore them the whole day! And he loves his jersey!

The weather is staying consistently warm around here!!! 

This little gal is everywhere and finding trouble! Lots of eyes need to watch her!

Abby's class, and the entire 2nd grade, walked over to a nearby park and spent most of the day there having fun. Stockton, Peyton, and myself met up with her around lunch time and had some fun. We got to meet all her friends, and let me tell you Peyton got some serious attention from all these girls! They all wanted to hold her and were asking a zillion questions about her. Abby loved every minute! It was so much fun!!

On Saturday we hiked up the steep hill to our empty lot that is going to be our new home! Decided we better get some pictures before the digging begins! This has been a crazy, blessed year so far! But we are excited to have a home and a place of our own again! Our lot is not far from where we are currently living. Kids won't have to change schools, and a lot of their friends live up in the subdivision where we are building. It's a great area with an awesome view! So here we go....!   120 days, 4 months is how long it will take! September can't come soon enough! 

Side note....I'm extremely proud of this guy standing next to me! He has been studying like crazy to get his Security Licensing, which is 2 different tests that are intense and hard!!! He studied so hard and put in so much time...practice test after practice test.....so much reading!  He passed both and we can put that behind! Phew! 

Last soccer game!

Stockton had his last soccer game on Saturday! He loved every minute! Goodbye Spring soccer! The weather did not always cooperate but we survived! Can't wait for Fall soccer, until then bring on some summer baseball! 

Stockton had a great coach who just so happened to love the Jazz, therefore he really liked Stockton!

I Dance Because.....this was the motto for Abby's dance season! We love Rythm N' Sole dance studio! Great job Abby on a great clogging season and the end of the year recital was awesome!

Art show & talent show

Abbys school had their art show. Poor Abby does not come from any sort of artistic background! I cringed when I had to draw in school. And she was not blessed with any natural artsy ability! But we all make do....! Her crazy monster was perfect. And they had some fun activities for the kids!

May 16, 2014.

2nd grade talent show.

They had the the four 2nd grade classes all do auditions in each of their classes for their talent show. Then all the kids voted for their favorites and the top 3 or 4 from each class got to do their talent in the big talent show! Abby performed one of her clogging routines and she got picked and one of her best friends did too! Life was good! We went and watched and she did fantastic!
