One of our bestest friends Megan or as the kids call her Aunt Megan turned 23, I know she is a young-en....haha!!And because her hubby had to work that evening we invited her and Kyns over for dinner and birthday cake. The kids also were so excited to give her their cards they made and candy they picked out from the store! Thanks for coming Megan and I'm so grateful for your friendship and example you are to me everyday!

Bike Ride!

St. Patricks Day....sort of!

St. Patrick's Day was on a Sunday this year (and we didn't celebrate on Saturday....not really big on the holiday) and with 9:00 church and a husband that starts meetings at 6:00 we did not get to festive. We are just lucky to get some breakfast in our stomachs! I quickly made Abby's milk in her cereal green, and she was so out of it still I don't think she cared to much, and Stockton wanted nothing to do with green that morning! I did make sure their Sunday best had the color green on it!

Abby's Dance Competition

Abby had her first dance competition here in Pocatello.

Here team performed 2 dances in different categories and took 1st place in both!

This is the first year her teacher has ever taken her Jr. Cloggers to competition, and being a clogger myself when I was younger Abby is by far learning more advanced steps and choreography than I ever did at this age. And now I will brag about my little girl......... Abby is the only girl on the team that knows both dances - every step - and she presents herself so well. She has worked so hard this past year and really takes it serious. So darn proud of her and everything she is learning from her experiences.

Quick Trip!

March 2, 2013 - Saturday, Drive to Kennewick

March 3 - Sunday, Tayson's Blessing

March 4 - Monday, Drive Home

As you can see this was a very quick trip! We were so excited to drive down to the Tri Cities to Kennewick where my brother lives with his family to see their baby boy Tayson be blessed! This was our first time visiting them, and won't be the last. We had our hotel booked for 2 nights, as Clay and Linsey had Linsey's family staying with them, but was fine because something about hotels and my kids and I that gets us way excited especially when it has a swimming pool!! My mom and dad and Grandma and Grandpa Garner came down as well and stayed at the same hotel. It was a party! Although, the trip didn't start off very well. We were actually suppose to leave on Friday but I woke up with some serious sickness... diarrhea and throwing up! Needless to say I was not getting out of bed and it was not going away. Abby did not have school that day so thankfully she was home to take care of Stockton while Aaron worked. Aaron dropped off lunch for the kids and I continued to lay on my death bed praying it would go away. I told myself I would feel fine by Saturday and we would leave early Saturday morning. No one was packed at all so I packed everyone from my bed yelling out commands....I tried going downstairs to help Abby pack but that ended in me over the toilet and scaring Abby to death! Anyways......Saturday I woke up feeling much better and we set off and I proceeded with caution and things were just fine!! Thank goodness! 

The kids traveled amazing....I think it is about an 8 hour drive. At one point I looked back to check on the kids and this is what I saw:

It didn't take us long to grab some cousins and start swimming at the hotel!

Clay gave Tayson a beautiful blessing. Then we enjoyed an amazing dinner! And we just had a great Sunday of talking and being together as family.

We have to go back because I didn't get enough time with Clay and Linsey and family.....I didn't get any time to shop and just see and take everything in! I loved it up there! Thanks Clay and Linsey for everything! Hopefully we will be back soon!

Forgotten post!

Our friends Quinn and Suzie invited us and friends Megan and Travis to come bowling with them for Quinn's 30th birthday. Always a great time especially because I was the overall winner...haha! We are very sad that Quinn and Suzie and cute family will be moving here in the next month or so.
