Easter In Heber

We had to be back in Pocatello on Easter Sunday because Aaron had to talk in church. So we ended our Spring Break trek in Heber and celebrated Easter with my family on Saturday.

My brother Brad made letter and colored pancakes for breakfast, of course a huge hit with the kids and me too. He did BSU ones for me!

My mom and dad put together a fun Easter egg hunt for the kids around their little mini farm!

At the end of their hunt they found their Easter baskets!

We enjoyed a lovely ham and potato lunch before we hit the road!

Spring Break in St. George!

St. George - March 26th, Tuesday thru Friday, March 29th 

After the Jazz game on Monday we headed to Heber and spent the night at my parents, then we all took off with my mom and dad to sunny St. George the next morning! And let me tell you it was sunny and gorgeous the whole time we were there. Chad, Amanda, and Taylor came down as well and it was just a big party and sooo much fun having them there too. Especially because we got to love on Taylor a lot!!! We really missed her after we went home...and Chad and Amanda too! haha

Here is a few things that we did while we were there, but mostly we just enjoyed the nice weather, ate really good, and of course Aaron golfed and I shopped!!

On our last night there the kids had a movie night with my cousin Preston! The kids had so much fun playing with Preston!

We love St. George!

March 25, 2013 - First Day of Spring Break!

She did get on the jumbo tron finally! It was quick but mission accomplished!

We walked through Temple Square on our way to City Creek and Abby loved the flowers and had to stop and smell the flowers on Temple Square!

Oh yeah...the Jazz won, so we had some happy kids!

Early Easter Fun and a BIG Announcement!

Because we were getting ready to head on vacation for spring break, and would be away from home Easter weekend we did some early Easter fun on Saturday morning.

The kids loved dying their eggs. The older they get the better they are at it, and the longer their attention span is..... soooo great!

 Aaron had some work to do that morning at the offiice and we wanted to wait for him to get home to do our little Easter egg hunt I put together for them. The kids passed the time playing the computer together, I thought it was the cutest picture!

It wasn't warm enough to have our Easter egg hunt outside so we went to the basement. Before they started hunting for eggs I explained to them that in some of the eggs there will be words that spelled out a special message and at the end they will have to put the words together and figure out what that special message is. So after they found all the eggs Stockton wasted no time digging into the candy but Abby went right for the message and solved it soo fast! And here is what it said:

Yep it is true! 

And we are all as happy as ever and feel beyond blessed! 

Due September 6, the exact same due date my Abby had! 

After Abby read the message she said to Aaron and I "Is this for real??? Because you and dad are always joking around!!" No joking this time!!
