My cleaning little lady!

Lately life has been pretty crazy, so it is a very good thing I have such a HAPPY HELPER (Barney...) to help me keep my house clean!! For reals.....I was mopping our kitchen floor the other day when I heard the little vacuum turn on, and Abby was just starting to vacuum the stairs just like I do! She was very focused. She is the best helper when it comes to cleaning the house. She is great at vacuuming, dusting, mopping, brooming, folding or unfolding the laundry, emptying out my laundry basket, helping me change the laundry, and just sometimes getting in the way. But no matter what I appreciate it!! Good thing I have Abby to keep me going everyday!!! She is great at picking up her toys and the cutest is when she is singing "clean up" which is another Barney song!! Can you tell that Barney is a hero in our house???!!! Anyways - I can't wait till she is able to wash the windows and scrub the toilet!!!

Fun at McKees ....

A few weeks back ... we went to McKee's (a fun little petting zoo) for FHE. We have been there a million times, but of course Abby never gets sick of it and she calls it the zoo! She always talks such a big game when it comes to animals, but when she comes up and close with them she is over squeezing our leg! What a drama queen!

Very, VERY excited to ride the horse. A potential cowgirl?? Definitely next Jr. Rodeo Queen!!

I didn't really take any pictures at this event, but here is one of Abby trying to decide if she wants to get closer to the cute little goats (guess that is what they are). Notice how the hands are pulled back and she is very very unsure! Only if you could see her face! Of course I'm taking the picture, but what you don't see is my foot nudging her in the bum trying to get her closer! I don't really think she is that scared....more of a drama queen! The cutest darn drama queen ever!! (kind of like her dad...Drama King!! I'm only kidding!!)

My list......

One of these days I plan on getting caught up in my blogging, but right now it is not that time. Right now my life is dedicated to the following:

1 - Finishing "Breaking Dawn" which is a book (the last book in the series! and i've been totally addicted to it!!) .......me and some of all my way cool, crazy friends are reading it right now! I'm trying not to let it totally consume my life!!!

2- Getting the painting done, inside and out of the house. (pictures will come later.....) I swear the around the house projects never end!!!

3- Going to the park, swimming, and doing every outside activity there is with Abby seems that summer is nearing its end!

4- Finding some free time to go the Twin Falls Temple open house!

5- I can't think of a number 5 right now, but I am very proud to say that my mom and I picked raspberry's this morning and made jam!!! There is a very nice lady in their ward that lets us pick for free ........... my mom was such a trooper and picked for almost 3 hours!! I had to leave a bit early to get back to Abby so Aaron could go to work. It is great to have done and the jam is sooooo yummy!! Thanks mom for all your hard work and help!!

As a mom I never really feel like I'm ahead........so in the meantime I'll keep working on my list and playing catch up! Life is good!!

Family Fun

We had some family fun on Sunday. Abby enjoyed her dad's creative ability in making her the coolest tent ever!! Actually.... first we used the kitchen table as the tent, but after the 10th time Abby tried standing up and hit her head we decided we better make a new tent!! So we moved the chairs to the living room and it was much better!

The first tent, not so good!

Here she is thinking, "Mom, my head really hurts but I'll still smile for ya!"

The new and improved tent in the works..........he looks so serious and engineering like.......scary!

Much, much better!

Now, Abby is always asking me to make her a tent!!

Lookin' so dang grown up!

Here are a few photos of Abby Cadaby ............ she is looking so grown up these days!! Grown up, but dang cute!

Yep, this is her...........can you say attitude!!??

Now she is all sweet and innocent!!

She thinks she is a funny light pole dancer!! (gets it from her mom...........haha)

"Mom, when are my feet going to grow???"

Lovin' the light pole.........again!

Later Mom!

Good times!!

I've been having a hard time finding time to blog...........so I'm going to start playing catch up!!

Here is a small, not so good picture of the very well known, beyond talented Mormon Tabernacle choir.....

Here we have an outdated picture of the worlds favorite family: The Osmond's

So, you have the Mo-Tab (Mormon Tabernacle Choir) and then you add the lovely, talented Osmond family............do you know what you get??? One rockin' concert in the Conference Center!!!

On Saturday Aaron and I along with others in my family went to the Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert with the Mo-Tab featuring The Osmond Family! Yes, yes I know what all you ladies are thinking.......Donny Osmond is so cute! hahaha! Yes he is a babe...I mean considering his age and all......but I'm pretty sure he has lots of help to maintain those good looks! Enuf about Donny..... What a great concert it was! Of course we all could listen to the Mo-tab all day long, but it was also great to see the Osmond's. It was their last stop on their worldwide tour, which was celebrating 50 years of togetherness. In a few of the songs everyone was clapping and rocking away, and I couldn't help but think about President Hinckley and the huge smile he must have had on his face. With his great sense of humor, and charm I just know he was so pleased at what was going on! It was also great to see President Erying along with his wife walk in right before it started. When our stake was reorganizing the stake presidency, brother Erying came and he definitely is one of my favorites. He is beyond brilliant and like all the brethren he carries a special spirit with him! Anyways, it was a great concert! I definitely hope to rock out in the conference center again!!!

Couldn't be happier!!

Lately we have been pretty regular at the miniature golf course here in town. Therefore, Abby is starting to be a little interested in golf. Not really the game, just getting the chance to swing a club at a ball or whatever else she comes in contact with. She also loves running wild at the course. When we go to my parent's house we drive right by the miniature golf course and she shouts out "golf" - "fun" - "go" ...... with this latest interest I thought she needed to be the proud owner of her very own set of golf clubs!! (and the other night she was dragging Aaron's golf club across the cement....not a good idea! I'm hoping her own clubs will solve that problem!)
She is also the proud owner of a stick horse...ya know....because her latest obsession is horses! (I'm working on the cowboy hat...but she won't keep it on!) As long as she has her stick horse (of course while watching that blasted horse DVD) and her golf clubs she is one happy camper! Below she is carrying both and telling us goodbye!!
