Peyton's Blessing Day

Peyton's blessing day was a great day! Just thinking about it brings emotion as I think about a circle of worthy Priesthood holders whom I love so much that are surrounding my beautiful, perfect daughter with my husband giving her the most beautiful, perfect blessing. I have a lot to be thankful for. Peyton did quietly fuss through her blessing, I couldn't hear it but that is what Aaron said, she does not really like a binky and loves to be swaddled to sleep....just like her brother! And she was tired at the time and I hadn't had a chance to get her to sleep yet as we have 9:00 church and i was frantically getting 3 kids and myself ready all by myself on a big day. But it was still all perfect and she slept peacefully when the blessing was done and she was swaddled up in my arms. After the blessing and church was over we had everyone over for lunch. We had a baked potato bar. I am so grateful for a mom who helped out sooo much and great family who brought food.

These first 2 pictures are on Saturday the day before the blessing. Stockton is helping Grandma prepare food and Auntie Amanda getting some snuggles in and Stockton even let Peyton use his blanky which is a very big deal, he loves his sister!

Quick trip to Utah

September 20-22nd

After we had Peyton I quickly realized that our car, a Honda Pilot, just wasn't cutting it for our 3 kids. We were short on space, kids weren't able to buckle themselves up, we were crawling over seats, lots of yelling, and there were tears......need I go on any further. So I decided to put our Pilot on Craigslist. I didn't want to sale it because I loved it! It had low miles, and well it wasn't a minivan! But I decided to put it on Craigslist and see what happened. That same day someone from Idaho Falls came and looked at it and before noon the next day they were driving away in my car and I had in my hand a check for what we wanted out of it. Stockton and I were both in tears....! I was without a car....let the minivan shopping begin. Yep I said minivan! After research and talking to fellow minivan owners I knew that we needed to join the van team! I was guaranteed by my friends that I would love it! So we found one in Orem, the same place we got our Pilot. Luckily it worked out that my mom was able to be around to be our taxi. So we set off to Utah for our new car, and Peyton's first trip to Grandma Allen's where she would also meet Uncle Chad, Aunt Amanda, and cousin Taylor for the first time.

Introducing the Moore Family new car - Odyssey - !

Of course we had to stay in the Honda family. We had our eyes on a silver one but it sold. But the ocean mist is growing on me!

And it's true, I love this car! Been 120% better for our family! The kids think it is so cool that we drive a van! I'm sure if they were teenagers it would be different....haha!
