Mother's Day

May 11, 2014
Happy Mother's Day!!
Wow! Being a mom is the hardest job in the whole world! But it's also the most amazing, rewarding, spiritual job in the whole world! I've never really understood motherhood until I became one and I'm still learning! I'm so thankful for all the amazing motherly examples I have! I have the best mom, mom in law, friends that are moms, and friends who are not moms but amazing mother figures to my kids!
The kids made my bed that morning! Now isn't that sweet! And they sang awesome in sacrament meeting. I loved all their cards and thoughtful gifts! And a big thanks to my man Aaron for the 2 ceiling fans for our new house!!!! The best gift! :)

Poor Aaron was sick on Mother's Day! (Mom's don't get a day off! Even on Morher's Day!) But we did go out to inkom to the Moore's and enjoyed an amazing meal and family!

Peyton 8 months

May 4th was the 8 month birthday for Peyton! Growing like a weed!!
She has been in full out teething mode! The top two have broke through...finally! She is mobile! She crawls backwards and gets to where she wants to go in different ways. She has taken 2 "real" crawling steps forward. She is soooo close to just doing it but all in Peyton time! She slides all over our tile on her belly! Peyt is wearing 12 month clothes and her hair is coming in beautifully! She hates headbands but tolerates barets. I'm working on hats for this summer. Takes 2 naps a day and does good at night still. Peyt eats 3 meals a day and a few bottles after or in between. She loves any food I give her. Peyton dances to the music, waves bye bye, says Abba, mama, dada, and baba. Loves strollers rides, shopping carts and watching her brother and sister! There is much more about this easy going cute little happy stinker of ours but we just love her to pieces! She is our P!!!

Lagoon Dance Competition

May 2-3, 2014
Abby had her last dance competition of the season at Lagoon! We drove down to Heber on Friday, the day before the competition, and stayed with my parents. That night we broke in their brand new fire pit! It was a beautiful evening in beautiful Heber!

The next morning we had to be up bright and early and off to lagoon! I was doing Abby's hair and makeup at 6:00 that morning! She danced early but that was a great thing as we could get done and enjoy lagoon before it all got crazy. We left Peyton with my parents to make our lives easier.

Abby danced fantastic! Her team got 2nd and 3rd on their dances. Not bad! This is nationals, a huge competition with dancers everywhere!!!
Now it was time to enjoy some rides! Stockton, who talks a big game, was so excited!
Because lines were not long yet we went right to rattlesnake rapids, the best ride!!! Stockton was scared, he even shouted out in the most serious voice "this is intense!!!" We were laughing hysterically!

He refused to smile as he was scared to death on the log ride! But then he loved it and wanted to go over and over!

I didn't get pictures of all the rides, but we had a lot of fun and were wore out after 4 or so hours. We stopped at a Dairy Queen for ice cream and ice cold water and headed back to Heber.

This little missy had fun playing with grandma and grandpa! They went shopping and took some naps! Oh the life!

We had a great family fun weekend!
