Farm Auction

Here are a few pictures from the farm auction we had last week. These pictures really don't do justice. There was a lot of stuff up for sale, with a million (it seemed like it) people there. I should have taken some pictures of all the vehicles (lots of nice trucks!) parked. My parent's house was surrounded by parked cars, I mean trucks! Overall the auction was a success and it is good to have it done and over with. It was a very bitter sweet day. I'll always love the farm and growing up in Raft River, I wouldn't change it for the world. But we all know this is what needed to happen and is best for everyone we just have to faith and a positive attitude. I'm so excited for my parent's to start a new chapter in their life.

Man, that must've been tough! I can only imagine. Well, we hope everything goes well from here out. Let me know if they need help moving in.

I love Raft River and the Allen farm!! Lots of good memories riding four-wheelers around Raft River, running with you down the country roads (you were training for track or something), being able to park my car at your house and leave the keys in it, unlocked (only in Raft River, ID!!) and the 4th of July celebrations. Lot of fun memories. I never helped with any of the farm work, but I know some of the lingo! Best of luck to your parents with all the new changes.
