Another kitchen update....will it ever end?

Not to much has been going on in our kitchen because we have had a little unexpected delay with the countertop.....Urrrrrrr...........so we are going on 3 weeks without a kitchen. Lets just say we are ready to get back to normal! But we did do a little work last night:

We have knobs!! Thanks to my mom who bought this little handy tool to make it very easy to put them on!! Gotta love our bronze knobs!

My dad cutting the toe kick, and of course Aaron is supervising. This little saw that my dad is using has some history. It was my Great Grandpa Garner's -Fredrick James Garner who is my mom's Grandpa- So I'm sure he was smiling up in heaven as my dad was using it!

Now they are installing the toe kick. Way to go boys!

This is my brother Clay - the head honcho of our kitchen remodel project - As you can see he is lounging on our couch watching the basketball game. He must have already received his paycheck, don't ya think??? I'm only kidding Clay!! Thanks for all your help! I love this picture!

Abby found the hammer, that can't be to good............

The hammer in dad's hands....much better. Just putting the baseboard back on. Which is later going to need to be painted......we have lots of painting to do..........yay!
