One year ago today.....
One year ago today Aaron and I were in Seattle at our hotel sitting nervously wondering what to expect the next day. Tomorrow, May 10, is Aaron's one year anniversary for donating bone marrow. He probably will get mad at me for posting this because he doesn't like a big deal made about it. When asked why he did it he usually said wouldn't you want someone to do it for you or for someone that you loved. Aaron was an amazing candidate to give bone marrow, because as the Doctor said he has very rich bone marrow. We are happy to report that the recipient of Aaron's bone marrow is a lady in her mid 30's and she is doing good. We should be getting another update on her soon and then we can meet her! What a great experience it was!!!

Wow, I cannot believe it has been a year!! Time flies when you having fun!! Way to Go Aaron - You Rock!!!
I can't believe it has been a year either, and I'm STILL so impressed by how thoughtful and willing Aaron was to do that for a complete stranger. He has such a big heart, and you can really tell that by his humility to not want to brag about it or even talk much about it!
It was so fun having you guys down- we had such a great time and I wish we didn't live so far apart. If you're ever up this way again, (and you don't have to donate something to come again) let us know- we'd love to have you again. My taxi service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! :)
Aaron is the Man!! He donates bone marrow and comes to the aid of a friend who thinks her house has a thief in it! Aaron you are a great person and we are lucky to know you guys!
What a selfless act!
