Homemade Cherry Pie

On Monday night for FHE we went for a walk, and we noticed that one of the tires in our jogger stroller was going flat. Thankfully we were walking by the Meusborn's house (friends from the ward) and they had an air compressor and helped us out. Then the Meusborn's, being as friendly and cool as they are, also treated us to their nice backyard for Abby to play in, root beer floats, and 2 bags of pie cherry's off of their cherry tree!! I'm not a big fan of cherry's but Aaron loves them. Aaron kept telling me all night that I need to make him a cherry pie, so the next day I put my little homemaking skills to the test! And just so ya'll know.....my mom only helped me with pitting the cherry's which was a huge pain!! Thanks mom, you saved me lots of time! Oh yeah, she also helped me with making the crust look pretty. I'm very proud to report I made a MEAN cherry pie, meaning it was way good (and it was way easy!!). I've only had one bite of it because like I said earlier I'm not a big fan of cherry's, but according to Aaron, Clay, G&G Allen, and my parents it is scrumptious!
