Lava Hot Springs

This past weekend we went on a little overnight camping trip at Lava Hot Springs. We had a family reunion for Aaron's mom's side of the family. We had a very enjoyable time except for Abby did NOT do well at sleeping in a tent for the first time. Like her mother, she just isn't the best camper!! I think it was one of our worst nights we have ever had with Abby since she was born. I'm not even sure what was wrong with her, she just didn't want to sleep therefore we didn't get any sleep and was bed hoping all night, which wasn't to fun because I would just get one spot warm and then have to move to a cold spot!! Once again many apologies for those of you who were TRYING to sleep. But enough about that, lets talk about the fabulous time we had on Saturday swimming at Lava Hot Springs!!! Abby really enjoyed the water and is a little fish (of course when she forgot how tired she was!). Aaron and I were contemplating the high dive, but just couldn't find the courage or craziness to do it! So we settled on the way cool green slide that takes you down in pure darkness! Crazy huh!?? I managed to get myself a sunburn on my shoulders....not to smart of me! It was a fun little camping trip, but I was very happy to get home because I felt so guilty about Abby being so tired. (the things we mother's worry about!) She slept on the way home, then we moved her to the couch where she continued to sleep another 2 hours (it is 7:00 at night now), then I forced her to eat a little and take a shower. Then it was off to bed for the next 12 hours! My little girl definitely functions on her sleep!! She can be so stinkin' onry without it!!!
Unfortunately and very unusual for me......I didn't get any pictures of our fun filled trip!! Below are the only 2 pictures I got!! I was playing and blowing bubbles with Abby and Brayden at the campsite.........
