Saturday...........

Saturday was such a GREAT day! First of all, I talked my parent's into going with Abby and I to the Pioneer Days parade. It was a lot of fun. Abby learned how to run for candy and put it into her bag (it took her awhile to get the courage to do it....), she got a high five from a policeman on his motorbike , she got to wave as much as she wanted while saying hi, and of course the most important thing is she got to see horses!! Right now she is obsessed with horses. I bought her this little video and part of it is about horses and she constantly wants to watch it over and over. Aaron and I kept saying that we need to hide it! It was funny, this morning before church Abby came upstairs with the horse DVD and demanded that she watch it I told her to go downstairs and ask dad.............well 5 minutes later Abby was back and asked me to put it in. Needless to say, Aaron won and we watched it upstairs! Anyways, back to the parade............it was a lovely time and it was great because it wasn't hot and we had a nice little seat right up close on the curb! But I must say the best part of Saturday came a bit later when Aaron or in Abby's case Daddy came home!! He had been gone all week at the High Adventure with the scouts. (thus the reason why he wasn't at the parade!!) Like the primary song goes..........."I'm so glad when daddy comes home, glad as I can be ............................" We are glad he had a great time and is home safe and sound. Things are a bit quiet around here without him! These aren't pictures of the actual time when Aaron got home.........more like the next day...........but they are cute and show how much Abby loves Aaron and misses him when he is gone!!
