Abby's First Day of Kindergarten
The day came......my little girl went off to kindergarten!
The week before we went to the open house where she met Mrs. Jones (Abby came home from school one day and told me the Mrs. Jones was the best teacher in Pocatello! I definitely agree! I didn't request her for nothing!! haha) and got to check out the classroom and play some games and do some fun things. After we left the open house she was ready to go back right away! Abby goes to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and rotate sMondays (sounds confusing I know, but really it isn't that bad) and she goes all day. Her she is on her first day:
There she goes.... at this point a tear was falling! When Aaron got back in the car he said to me the sappy saying of, "Time to let her spread her wings and fly!" Made a few more tears come down. All morning I was wondering what she was doing...did I teach her enough...is she being nice....are they being nice to her.....and the list goes on and on.....! She had a great first day, and loves school! We just had her first parent/teacher conference, and she is doing great!!
