5 days after Abby turned 6 she was off to 1st Grade!
As you can tell I couldn't choose just one picture!
Now that we are about a month in to the school year....I'm happy to report that Abby is loving 1st grade and her reading has already improved dramatically and she is just a smarty pants.
The first few weeks were definitely an adjustment for Abby! Going to school everyday, all day was very hard on her. She was so tired and having some anxiety at night. Thankfully we have settled into a schedule and are doing much better. And it helps that she has the best teacher ever!
So weird having a 1st grader.....!
