Rain and Fishing

More August......

In August we got a ton of rain a few different times. I'm talking it rained like 4 hours straight one afternoon. Lots of people had flooded basements and businesses. The streets were full of water, and it just seemed like everything was flooded. The kids definitely enjoyed playing in the rain! Wish I would have gotten some pictures of how bad it really was, these pictures are from the first hour of rain......

Aaron and kids got up real early on Saturday morning to go fishing. This is Stockton's first "real" fishing trip. They were going with Aaron's dad who was putting on a fishing derby for them and some of the other cousins. Abby was the only girl there and really showed up all those boys and men! (of course with some help from her dad!) She won $30 from her Grandpa for catching the first fish and the most fish! She doesn't get her fishing skills from me! I enjoyed a lovely Saturday while they were gone and went with my mother in law and sister in law to get pedicures! Quite lovely and it was nice to have cute toes for delivery day which was coming up soon!
