Peyton

On January 20 I took Peyton into the doctor because she had not been acting like herself for about 5 days or so. She was battling a cold, not a terrible one just a minor one with a bit of a cough....thanks to her older siblings for sharing that! Well she had an ear infection! That explained everything. I was a little emotional and freaked out as my other kids never got sick this young and I can count on one hand how many ear infections I've had to deal with! I couldn't believe that my 4 month old baby needed antibiotics already!!! Is she going to always get ear infections? Is she going to be sick all the time? She has been such a good baby....is this going to be her downfall!?! Yes I know, I'm a crazy mom....but I'm sure I'm not the only one! Just being honest. Also I was sleep deprived and our family is dealing with lots of "stuff!" So we started her on the Amoxicillian which she hates taking! And come to find out it doesn't really like her either! Diarreah came, upset stomach, and no sleeping! So finally after I endured all I could....which was 5 days and I still had 5 more....my doctor decided to switch to a different antibiotic. And we've been on it for 2 days and I can tell a difference, a good kind of difference. So my fingers are crossed that we are headed that way! She is feeling so much better!
