Syringa Fun Run

On Friday, October 10th was the big Syringa Fun Run/fundraiser. As we are still pretty new to Syringa, I didn't quite understand how it worked or how big it was. (And that tons of parents attend, some were even recording it!! And holy cow the boys are so competitive!) I help out on the PTA and volunteered to help out on this event, basically I handed out drinks and directed the traffic at the finish line. Stockton had his on Thursday -which I didn't know about- because of his kindergarten schedule, and I missed it and was sad about it, they did one lap and he finished 3rd. Each grade runs together and  Abby had to do 3 laps which is a mile and I ran with her. I was proud of her as she did not want to walk and was the first girl to finish! A nice cold powerade awaited them at the end, and I'm all about fundraising and exercising!
