Salsa and Haircut

September 10, 2010
This summer my mom's tomato plants did amazing. So my mom found a salsa recipe from a friend and we gave it a try, and it is the best salsa ever!!
I forgot how many batches we ended up doing but we had fun doing it and are now loving the salsa! We even did a mild and a medium to please everyone!!
Taste testing is the best part!

And this is what Stockton did while we worked away!

When: September 21, 2010
What: Stockton's 2nd haircut
Where: Outside in the swing
Who did it: Dad
How did he do: Great! Much better than the first haircut!
The end result: A buzz cut.....not exactly what I wanted but very cute!

Cutest little boy ever!

Now we are at the middle of November and he needs a 3rd haircut very very bad!!

Happy Birthday Abby!!

Every year August 25th is a big day in our family!!
This year Abigail turned 4, Aaron turned 28, and my mom turned 51!
Abby usually steals the show, but it is always a fun-filled day!
This year Abby was very excited to have a light up Princess cupcake cake! (Abby calls cupcakes muffins, so if she was talking it would be a muffin cake!)
And I surprised Aaron with a homemade from scratch banana cream pie! (no picture.....like I said Abby steals the show!) But it was the yummiest pie ever!
Before we all indulged on the sweet birthday muffin cake and pie there was other festivities we did that day........ that morning I took Abby to the Dollar Store to spend a little bit of her birthday money she received from G-ma's in the mail. She spent$2.00 very wisely and I was very proud. (the rest of the money she chose to put it in her piggy bank) Then we picked up happy meals from McDonalds, which we NEVER do and had a picnic at our house in the backyard......then Stockton took a nap and Abby and I ventured out to pick out birthday balloons and few things for a party! (don't worry Aaron was home with Stockton) We let her pick out what she wanted for dinner and she narrowed it down to Red Lobster, Pizza Hut, and Texas Roadhouse. We settled on Pizza Hut and that made her very happy!
The lovely cupcake cake. Half chocolate and half vanilla!

This year we had a small, yet perfect party with all the Grandparents for all the birthday people! Abby was very excited when her buddy and 2nd cousin Preston flew into Pocatello to spend some time with his Grandma and Grandpa and he stopped by the party.

While the birthday party was going on .... Aaron's birthday present was going on in the backyard. When we bought our house there was a nice, big dead tree in the backyard. I was very sad that it was dead........so for Aaron's birthday we had it cut down!! Everyone thought that was a lot more entertaining than the party!

She was so excited to get her new scooter!!

What a great day it was!!!
Happy Birthday Abby, Aaron, and mom!!
Love you guys sooo much!!

Before they headed out to the tent they enjoyed their favorite snack together...POPCORN!

And Aaron read the college football preview....... Boise State is on the front!

To the tent!

Abby and Aaron really are two peas in a pod!! I love watching them make memories!!

Zoo Fun!

The Pocatello Zoo may be small and on a hill, but we always have fun!
We love the tree house, especially the slide!

Aaron's dream buck.......
