The kids had fun taking part in their school science fair. Thank you Pinterest for the help!!! Stockton's most favorite cookie is Oreos so I knew it was the perfect project for him. And Abby loves pop and pop rocks so I knew it was perfect for her, and she had fun doing hers with a couple of her friends.

January in photos
January was a whirlwind of a month. It was spent adjusting to our new life as business owners. Aaron worked long hours, and I kept up with the rest of our life. And together we survived and had a heck of a month!
New Years Eve. It was very low key this year, and I mean very!
Just another crazy hair moment for P.
Stockton hung out with Gram Price as he had tonsillitis and us girls went to Pizza Pie Cafe with Abby's school class who earned it.

My Uncle Alan who lives down in St. George sent me this picture of my Grandma and Grandpa Allen. I just love it, biggest Jazz fans I know and showing it in their Snuggies!!

Stockton's Recovery
Stockton's tonsil and adenoids removal surgery went well. He handled it all well with no reactions or any set backs. So then we were geared up for the 2 week recovery process. He did amazing! I was most worried about the recovery as I had heard some pretty bad stories from others, but he did so good and was such a champ!
Stockton loves shoes and I picked him up a new pair during his recovery because I knew it would make him so happy! And it did, caught him wearing them on the couch and just admiring them.

Got himself up, showered, dressed, and did his hair!
The hardest part of his recovery was Peyton getting sick with croup the day after Stockton's surgery. She was by far harder than him! I was so exhausted physically and mentally....!
My super bowl party! Low key this year, and I sent the other two to party with family as long as they brought me back some food. And I must say the halftime show was the best part of the super bowl!!!
Stockton did so good at doing his homework during his recovery. He's such a smart boy!
Goodbye tonsils!
On January 29th Stockton got his tonsils out. We were always told pretty much his whole life by his doctor, Dr. Burton, that this day would most likely come due to problems over the course of his life involving tonsils. After 2 bouts of tonsillitis and 2 different antibiotics in January Dr. B sent us to an ENT doctor to talk about getting them removed. (Plus he has snoring, breathing issues at night that needs fixed!) 5 years old is the perfect age, not to old and not to young. So we went forward and met with a great ENT doctor, Dr. Donaldson and got it scheduled. The week of the surgery I admit I was having some serious anxiety and wondering if I was doing the right thing. I was getting feedback that it was the best choice they ever made or the worst, and the recovery was awful....and so on. Stockton is my baby boy and I was just in freak out mode. Thankfully I talked to my Aunt Tena and she put my mind at ease and with lots of prayer and a Father's blessing for Stockton all was well. I got Stockton a cool new comfy Nike outfit to wear the morning of because he loves that kind of stuff. And with one of his favorite blankets (he has 3) and his favorite stuffed animal, and his hat on backwards we were off. He didn't complain once about being hungry, as he was fasting. Big Thanks to my mom and dad who came and got Abby to school and stayed with Peyton. Such a huge help!!!
He could be a Nike model, don't ya think??
His tonsils. The Doc reported that they were big, one side bigger than the other. I wish I could remember the percentage but a percentage of his tonsils was blocking his airway. I'm not surprised at all.
Car ride home!
