A Great Mommy Moment

This afternoon I was sitting on the floor playing with Stockton, and Abby was doing her thing and just playing away. Out of the blue she came up to me and gave me a big hug and a kiss.

I said to her, "Abby, what was that for?"
Abby replied back, "Because I love you mom."

These kind of moments make the hard stuff that comes with being a full time mommy so worth it!!

Stockton's Blessing

Let see.....Chad came home, then we had family pictures, and now we are to Stockton's blessing. (this was all in the same weekend!)

Aaron gave Stockton such a wonderful blessing. Stockton is one lucky guy, he was surrounded by so many great men. He was awake during the blessing, but didn't make a peep. Of course as soon as Aaron handed him back to me he spit up. (good timing Stockton!!) After Stockton's blessing we all headed up to my parent's church and listened to Chad report his mission. He did an AMAZING job.

Family Photos - August 2009

With Chad coming home from his mission and everyone being together, we did some family pictures. Let me just say that Abby was not very cooperative for this photo shoot. But we did it and survived. I'm very grateful for a TALENTED and PATIENT uncle who did our pictures. So, here are some of them in no particular order:

We are so happy to have my little brother Chad home from his mission! He served in the Fort Worth Texas mission. He was an AMAZING missionary and I'm proud to have him as my little brother. Welcome home Chad!

Abby was so proud, because when she first saw Uncle Chad she gave him a hug, kiss, and high five!

There were so many missionaries at the airport that day. It was kind of sad, because one was wondering around and couldn't find his family.

Thankfully, we spotted Chad walking our way, and after the airport we all went to Sizzler and had ourselves a good time!!

2nd week in July.....

So...I'm playing some serious catch up in the blogging world! There is so much to catch up on, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. My goal is one or two posts a night.

While Aaron was at scout camp I decided to get Abby a haircut. When I told Aaron over the phone he was a bit mad, but loved it when he got home. I think it is adorable, and totally matches her sassiness! Thanks Aunt Linsey!

Stockton - Our Little Man!

Stockton has been such a blessing in our life. I have had so many different thoughts and feelings this past month. I wish I would have wrote them all down. Life has definitely changed for us and has been an adjustment, but with change always comes new adventure and a chance to grow as a person. I have really found out a lot about myself this past month. What a roller coaster ride it has been! I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband, supportive family, and great friends!

Now to Stockton....he has been a great baby!! He is a great eater, sleeper, and pooper! He is a little on the impatient side, but what hungry baby isn't?!!? He is slowly but surely gaining weight, and has such long arms, legs, finger, and toes! Everyday he is changing, and sure is one handsome little guy!!
