((This post will probably only mean something to those mother's that have had kids/babies that absolutely love their binky and can't wait for the day that they get rid of it!))
I am very happy to report that Abby is done with the binky!! We are on Day 4 now and things are looking great!! I wasn't even planning on taking it away, but it just happened, so that was very nice for me. She has been on the sick side lately and has had a runny nose, therefore when she is trying to sleep she can't suck on the binky and breathe, so I just took it away. I feel bad that it took a runny nose, cough, and ear infection to finally toss the binky, because she uses her binky as a comfort.......but she is a tough girl and has asked about it a few times but we haven't had any breakdowns.
I really hope Grandma Garner is reading this!! She was always giving me a hard time about Abby and her binky! I know you will be proud!

Hooray! I wish Taylor would give hers up. She only uses it at night so it doesn't bother me as bad but she has given everything else up on her own so I am hoping the binki or at our house "meme" really soon
Yea! Chloe was a HUGE binky girl and I was so nervous about taking it away, which we had to finally do cold turkey, but it all worked out and they get over it faster than you think! You're doing well-she's not even 2 yet and I know some people that drag it out until their kids are 4 or 5 and then it's really hard to do, so the sooner the better!

Hey that's awesome! You have reached a milestone...I totallt know how that feels! I hope to take away Avery's binky in the next few months, but we will see! It's always easier said, than done...
