4th of July Fun!

We had a pretty mellow, relaxing 4th of July this year, which was very nice seems that we were still recovering from our fun the weekend before. Aaron went golfing in the morning (that was 2 days in a row for Aaron golfing!!! What a tough life!!) Abby and I cleaned and played then later we all went to the park for some fun on the slides and swings, which is really all Abby cares about at the park. Then after nap time we went up to my parent's house along with my Grandparents and had the most amazing BBQ. The food was just so good!!! Nothing beets a good hamburger, (and with Abby now, I'm a pretty regular hot dog eater!!) homemade macaroni salad, homemade baked beans, watermelon (not homegrown!!), and a root beer float!!! After lots of trampoline jumping, a few forewheeler rides, Aaron entertained us with some fireworks. Our little Sleeping Beauty -Abby- didn't make it for the "real" fireworks but you could see them from our bedroom window! It was a great day spent with my family! I'm so grateful to live in this country. It is so easy to forget and take for granted what we have here in America, and the 4th of July is always a great time for me to really think and reflect on how lucky I am to be an American. GOD BLESS THE USA!!

Here are a few pictures of Abby running through our wiggly sprinkler over the weekend:

Aaron getting Abby.................

I love this picture .......... what great running form!! It looks effortless!

Getting daddy back!!!

Our BIGGEST SHOW in Idaho .......... put on by my pyromaniac hubby Aaron:

We totally should have bought more of these ones!!!!

Our breathtaking view!!

He made a little ramp for the little tanker..........didn't work the best but it did add some excitement and anticipation to our show!

The pyro in action!!

How many stogies do you see????

**** NOTE **** All or our fireworks came up to a measly total of $2.00, next year we are definitely going to increase our budget!!! Abby was emotionless during the whole thing which is pretty rare for her.......she isn't to sure about the whole firework thing. Next year we'll definitely have to let her see the cool, big, colorful ones!!

Clay, Linsey, and Ryley joined us later in the weekend and I took a few pictures of the girls on the trampoline. They are so cute together.....Ryley is such a sweetie and I loved how I was her friend!!! It was good to see you guys!!!

Hope ya'll had a happy, safe 4th of July!!! Let Freedom Ring!
