Holy Cow...where did January go???

Well hello everyone.
I'm sure I've been called everything from slacker to lazy to boring.....
Man alive, I just can't believe that January is over....only 11 more months and we'll be ringing in 2010!!! And at this rate it will be sooner than we all think!! Things have been going great for us. So,,,, in response to my good friend Christy who has been wondering what has been happening with the Moore's (hahaha I know you really don't care that much!)....well here are a bunch of pictures that will show you just a little (and you will notice that pretty much all pictures consist of Abby....that is what is always going on!!):
Torturing Papa Allen....one of her favorite things to do. (just ask him how that wood block felt when it hit his head not to long ago. I was so mad at Abby!!)

Watching Backyardigans with Papa Allen, Abby saw the camera right when I snapped it....my dad has been introduced to the world of kid's TV....poor guy!

Abby sporting her Sarah Palin look in Mama Allen's glasses! Isn't she adorable!!?? My mom and I were trying to treat my wounded finger (I cut it while cutting out fabric for the rag quilt I'm making for this baby boy in my tummy! I'm such a klutz when it comes to that kind of stuff!) And she had found my mom's glasses and was carrying on a little conversation on the phone. We were laughing pretty hard!

Clay, Linsey, and girls came up and visited while Clay was doing the Ag Show thingy. It was fun hanging out with Linsey and I definitely miss holding sweet Reagan!! I thought this picture of Abby and Ryley was cute. They are such great friends!!! The week after they left we were driving up to my parent's and Abby asked me if Ryley would be there! We love cousins!!!

Linsey gave Abby her first real haircut! It was fun!

One of Abby's silly moments....I believe she snuck into my mom's closet on this one.....

One morning Abby came upstairs and told me that she had spilled the cereal. That she did! I was proud of myself (thanks to the great counsel we got in our adult session for stake conference on parenting) and really didn't mad at her. It was pretty cute because she sat down and started putting the Corn Flakes back in the box while singing the Clean Up song from Barney. We did have a nice chat and hopefully she won't be dumping anymore cereal out anytime soon!

Lounging on the couch...we do a lot of that.....with this pregnancy I've needed like a 30 minute nap every afternoon, and with Abby being a NO NAPPER I always try to convince her to lay down and relax for at least 30 minutes with me.

Abby holding her balloon that Uncle Matt and Aunt Jen gave us, she was very proud and loved that balloon!
Let me just say, Abby loves her baby brother but I'm not sure how much he's loving her....let me explain.....one morning I was in the kitchen and Abby wanted to look at my belly button (an obsession she has) and talk to my belly. I asked her what baby brother's name is. She replied by saying "Wags the Dog" (a character off of the Wiggles show). I replied by saying no, lets just call him baby brother. But of course she insists that he be called Wags the Dog and still does....she is very persistent about this. So that is how Abby refers to her little brother............Wags Moore......poor kid!

What a doll!

Also this past month I had some excitement when Abby was running around the table over and over and got a little ahead of herself and fell and just so happened to hit the door hinge on the bathroom door. Right by where you would push to plug your ears...what a weird spot.....! I did have to take her into the Dr., we were given the option to stitch it but decided to just keep it medicated and bandaged. It has healed beautifully! I never got a picture of the actual wound. With the energy and bravery that Abby possesses we are just grateful we don't have more mishaps!!
So besides Aaron and myself letting the show "24" take over our life in the evenings......that is a little of what has been happening around here.
I really hope to be a better blogger so I don't have to post these epic, marathon posts to catch up!

I love the epic blog posts! So many fun pictures. Abby is such a doll. I do love her in glasses (but hopefully she won't need them for a long time). Yay for the first hair cut!! Saylee had her first just the other day! Oh and I think you should keep the name Abby has chosen for the baby...I doubt he'll ever meet another person with the same name!:) So cute!!

I'm with you: where DID January go? Looks like you're busy like the rest of us. Be grateful Abby has enough hair to cut! Elena is almost 4 and never had a haircut in her life because she doesn't have very much!
