Valentines Day and St. George

So.... here are a few pictures of Valentines Day and our trip to St. George. (it all happened at the same time) Aaron had a scout camp so Abby and myself hitched a ride with my parents down south and surprised my Grandparents, and I'm pretty sure they were surprised. I didn't really take any pictures, lets just say this trip consisted of SHOPPING, and lots of it! I literally shopped till I dropped!!!

Here is few shots of Abby in St. George on V-day. We had a lovely day, and we all went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (my fave!!) at like 4:00 in the afternoon they already had an hour and a half wait! Then later on we indulged in some yogurt from Maverick, which is another one of my favorites! Of course we missed Aaron this day, but he was such a sweetie and mailed me a card that came right on V-day and had some cash in it to help me out with the shopping! Love ya babe! And of course Abby and I left a little present back home for him, Abby hid it in her closet! Anyways.........
Lovin' her candy.....

Lovin' her Princess Valentines.......

Roaring like a Lion....she loved her new animal books!

So, we didn't pick the warmest time to visit St. George, but it was still a lot warmer than Idaho!! It was fun to get rid of the coat and just wear the jacket! Here is Abby out helping Papa do some yard work for my Grandparents.
It was a lot of fun visiting my Grandparents. My Grandpa is recovering from heart surgery, so it was so nice to see him and give him some company...and lets just say that Abby is VERY good at keeping her Grandma and Grandpa Great company. She loves them, and talks about them and St. George all the time. If you don't live in Pocatello, she most likely thinks you live in St. George!

In our travels to and from St. George we OF COURSE detoured our route to stop and see Bryson and Hayley (oh yeah, Brad and Bec too!). It was a great way for Abby to get her wiggles out and take a break from the car.
Here are the grandkids opening their V-day presents from Mama Allen!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Cute kids!
And that is all for this post...................

Holy Cow...where did January go???

Well hello everyone.
I'm sure I've been called everything from slacker to lazy to boring.....
Man alive, I just can't believe that January is over....only 11 more months and we'll be ringing in 2010!!! And at this rate it will be sooner than we all think!! Things have been going great for us. So,,,, in response to my good friend Christy who has been wondering what has been happening with the Moore's (hahaha I know you really don't care that much!)....well here are a bunch of pictures that will show you just a little (and you will notice that pretty much all pictures consist of Abby....that is what is always going on!!):
Torturing Papa Allen....one of her favorite things to do. (just ask him how that wood block felt when it hit his head not to long ago. I was so mad at Abby!!)

Watching Backyardigans with Papa Allen, Abby saw the camera right when I snapped it....my dad has been introduced to the world of kid's TV....poor guy!

Abby sporting her Sarah Palin look in Mama Allen's glasses! Isn't she adorable!!?? My mom and I were trying to treat my wounded finger (I cut it while cutting out fabric for the rag quilt I'm making for this baby boy in my tummy! I'm such a klutz when it comes to that kind of stuff!) And she had found my mom's glasses and was carrying on a little conversation on the phone. We were laughing pretty hard!

Clay, Linsey, and girls came up and visited while Clay was doing the Ag Show thingy. It was fun hanging out with Linsey and I definitely miss holding sweet Reagan!! I thought this picture of Abby and Ryley was cute. They are such great friends!!! The week after they left we were driving up to my parent's and Abby asked me if Ryley would be there! We love cousins!!!

Linsey gave Abby her first real haircut! It was fun!

One of Abby's silly moments....I believe she snuck into my mom's closet on this one.....

One morning Abby came upstairs and told me that she had spilled the cereal. That she did! I was proud of myself (thanks to the great counsel we got in our adult session for stake conference on parenting) and really didn't mad at her. It was pretty cute because she sat down and started putting the Corn Flakes back in the box while singing the Clean Up song from Barney. We did have a nice chat and hopefully she won't be dumping anymore cereal out anytime soon!

Lounging on the couch...we do a lot of that.....with this pregnancy I've needed like a 30 minute nap every afternoon, and with Abby being a NO NAPPER I always try to convince her to lay down and relax for at least 30 minutes with me.

Abby holding her balloon that Uncle Matt and Aunt Jen gave us, she was very proud and loved that balloon!
Let me just say, Abby loves her baby brother but I'm not sure how much he's loving her....let me explain.....one morning I was in the kitchen and Abby wanted to look at my belly button (an obsession she has) and talk to my belly. I asked her what baby brother's name is. She replied by saying "Wags the Dog" (a character off of the Wiggles show). I replied by saying no, lets just call him baby brother. But of course she insists that he be called Wags the Dog and still does....she is very persistent about this. So that is how Abby refers to her little brother............Wags Moore......poor kid!

What a doll!

Also this past month I had some excitement when Abby was running around the table over and over and got a little ahead of herself and fell and just so happened to hit the door hinge on the bathroom door. Right by where you would push to plug your ears...what a weird spot.....! I did have to take her into the Dr., we were given the option to stitch it but decided to just keep it medicated and bandaged. It has healed beautifully! I never got a picture of the actual wound. With the energy and bravery that Abby possesses we are just grateful we don't have more mishaps!!
So besides Aaron and myself letting the show "24" take over our life in the evenings......that is a little of what has been happening around here.
I really hope to be a better blogger so I don't have to post these epic, marathon posts to catch up!

The waiting and wondering is over!!

Here is Aaron holding our sweet little Abigail at the hospital.....well folks, change that pink blanket to a blue one and loose the bow because we are having a.....

BOY!!!!!!!!!

So...pretty much everyone was right! We are SO excited, and everything is looking good! We have a more official due date of June 8. At the beginning of the ultrasound it didn't look like he was going to cooperate, but after a few minutes he was an angel for the lovely ultrasound lady and made it VERY VERY obvious that he is of the male gender! We don't have any names set in stone yet, so feel free to suggest. And I can't wait to start shopping for this little guy!! (Aaron is not to excited about that) I have lots of pictures but no scanner, but we all know what a baby looks at this stage......pretty much the same.

Once again.....can I get a woo woo....we are a having a boy!!!!!!!!!

Christmas 2008

Well...the Christmas post definitely came later rather than sooner, but oh well. We had a wonderful, very snowy Christmas!
Here are a few of the highlights:
*Watching Abby.....all day long! Christmas definitely wears them out!
*Looking out the window Christmas morning and seeing the blizzard snow white out!
*Talking to my little missionary brother Chad on the phone, he is doing AMAZING!
*Announcing to our family about our special new addition coming in June!
*Eating all the good food!
*Seeing and being with family all day long!
Now to the photos.....WARNING there are a lot, but who doesn't like pictures????

These first 3 picture show how happy Abby was to open her Princess jammies on Christmas eve! She loves them!

Even though Aaron is spoiled all year round......he was lucky and came away with a couple things!

My sweet hubby surprised me with the best gift ever!

Abby -the mommy- in action!

This is Abby's first cabbage patch doll (the other one's she has are mine from when I was little) they smell so good!

The diaper bag I made for her....of course with lots of help from my mom!

The 2 blankets I made for Abby and all her babies!

I talked my dad into making a wooden kitchen for Abby......he did an amazing job! This was her Santa gift.
What a lovely Christmas it was!
(NOTE: tomorrow is the big day when we find out the gender of this baby!! I seriously can't wait!)

Our Christmas Announcement

Abby made this announcement on Christmas Day:
(Those of you having a hard time reading First Grader font it says "the best Christmas present ever")

Now to the back of the shirt! BIG SISTER!!!

Yes! We are having a baby! (I know what you all are thinking right now..."I knew it!!") We are VERY excited. I'm 16 weeks along and my due date is June 10 and June 16....so sometime in June. It would be fun if the baby came on the 9th (little brother Chad's birthday), the 14th (Ryley's b-day), or the 17th (big brother Brad's b-day). Not matter what we will add to the June birthdays! Aaron and I really wanted to keep our little secret until we found out the gender but we thought Christmas would be a fun time to announce, and also I am starting to show and I'm sick of hiding my cute little bump! So far this pregnancy has been different than when I was prego with Abby. I haven't been really that sick just very tired. Aaron says it is because I'm a lot tougher this time. I think it is just different because I'm busy with a 2 year old all the time. Who knows? We will be finding out the gender pretty soon and I CAN'T wait!!!!

Also, I will be posting Christmas soon......
